An essay can be defined as a creative academic writing, which helps convey thoughts. It is a summarized writing. It can vary from a range of about one hundred and fifty words to one thousand words.

In the argumentative essays, the writer should give points for and against the topic in question and at the conclusion make a stand on which side they prefer and one on which the writer gives more points.  

 In essays one has to plan. This is a mental activity which involves analyzing the essay topic. During the writing process, one should begin by identifying the topic one want to write about and understand it in depth.
