This is a paper which gives a discussion on genocide and its pervasive impacts which have to be dealt with the people who face it. The paper comes with an introductory part which introduces the reader to the topic of discussion. There is a brief definition of genocide and some of the procedures or steps which have been put in place in preventing genocide from occurring. The paper also discusses some of the eight stages of genocide, and how such stages were followed during the period of the Rwanda genocide of 1994. The paper then comes into conclusion on the topic of discussion with personal understanding on genocide in general. When bigotry reigns in a society, there is nothing better which can be seen, but pure extortion and suffering which comes to mankind. With people who have faced suffering from genocide, it becomes the hardest moment which they cannot forget for the rest of their lives.
