The most indispensable responsibility of parents or society in general is to prepare their children or the youths for adulthood, and become productive and sensible creatures in the developing world. The basic way to achieve the sense of literacy, responsibility, and creative and critical thinking among the youth and children, is through education. Education is the cardinal key to success, and through it, the purported facets of better livelihood can be accessed and achieved. However, with reference to the developing countries, trends in the education system has been quite unsatisfactory, characterized high levels of competition, and examination oriented. Similarly, the education system does not include practical training, and the acquisition of knowledge and the essential accomplishments for the development of the nation, politically and economically.
Moreover, the systems also promote cramming, which amounts to short term storage of essential information. This is a decidedly crucial set back, since with high levels of forgetfulness, the graduates or the students graduating from various institutions find it hard to fit in their jobs or obtain opportunities in the labor force, thus, resulting to an under developed nation full of weak minds. In tandem to this, most of the development countries also do not incorporate technology in their education system, thence making it difficult to set a strong foundation for the education of the child and create an environment that is worthwhile for global competition, which is technology oriented.
Conventionally, it is extremely beneficial for the education system to incorporate practical classes, and train the students well for the realization of proficient economical and political systems. As it is with clear conscious that for a country to develop, most of the development activities are suppose to be practical rather than theoretical. In light with this, the education system should also incorporate technology so as to enhance learning activities, familiarize the students with the digital world, and equip the students with the relevant knowledge on technology. The education system should also adapt an adept system that offers examination, not as facet that sets up competition, but as an element that integrates learning and checks whether the students have learnt something or not.
Concisely, a society with proficient education system can establish a firm foundation for children and the youth that will enable them achieve the best and develop the nation adequately.
