Social networking has changed the way people interact with each other in so many ways. People no longer need to meet personally to share information. All you need to do is have an email or Facebook account and you can pass on the intended information.  I personally think that using technology is better that the old conservative ways of communication since I consider the convenience technology offers. You no longer have to travel to far away countries to see your loved one's, instead, use Skype. Some of the disadvantages of social networking include: invasion of privacy, lack of intimacy value and miscommunication. The short comings can never be compared to the good social networking has done to us though.
